Biofuels
We see bioenergy as an indispensable solution for a greener, more sustainable future. We care about the quality of life of future generations by promoting the use of biofuel as an alternative to fossil fuels, because it is cleaner, more affordable and available to everyone.
The biofuel we trade is an entirely renewable energy source, produced from animal or vegetable raw materials and from previously used cooking oils. We offer this energy source across several products, each reflecting our commitment to the future, the environment and its preservation.
Every year Plasfer trades tonnes of waste obtained through the prior collection and conversion of discarded raw material, contributing to the sustainable reuse of the planet's resources and to the reduction of carbon emissions into the atmosphere.
Low acidity oleine
Oleine is an emollient, oily product obtained from the reuse of spent frying oils, used across various industrial sectors.
Used Cooking Oil (UCO)
Product obtained from recovered frying oils, subsequently filtered and ecologically decanted.
Fatty acids and oleines
Produced from fatty acids recovered during the neutralization of virgin oils.
Food waste oils
Product obtained from oils and fats recovered from human and animal food industry waste.
Crude Glycerin
Residue obtained from biodiesel production, available in several options and suited to different uses. Its special advantage is that it causes no environmental contamination, thereby preserving natural resources.
Mixed Animal and Vegetable Fatty Acids
A versatile product with multiple uses as a raw material for biofuel production, animal nutrition, fertilizers and lubricants.
Plastics
At Plasfer we work with new and recycled PVC compounds, as well as PE, PP and MASTERBATCH, all of high quality and sourced in line with the best environmental practices.
We have established partnerships with internationally recognized specialist companies to offer standardized solutions and customized products.
PVC is a highly resistant and durable thermoplastic with a wide range of applications. Its properties make this material the ideal choice across numerous industries and for the creation of innovative solutions. This compound is the most widely used polymer in the world and, together with other plastics, is present in 66% of human-made products.
Being fully recyclable and extremely versatile, PVC is found in everyday objects, as well as in civil construction, medical and food-industry products, among others. It is used in cable coating, vehicles, school supplies, 35% of hospital materials, pipe production and windows.
Food
We trade food products that make a difference to our customers' final product. To achieve this, we have built strong relationships with the best producers, ensuring full quality, food safety and the most competitive prices.
This allows us to guarantee the best possible response to market demands.
Human
Sugar:
At Plasfer, we have expanded our expertise in critical commodities for the sugar sector, connecting major production hubs with industrial and global export demand. We act as the strategic link that guarantees contractual security, technical compliance and logistical efficiency in every operation.
Our portfolio covers the main classifications required by the international market, serving everything from industrial refining to large-scale consumption.
Solutions Across Different Grades (ICUMSA)
We offer a complete range of sugars with strict control over polarization and color, tailored to every application need:
Crystal Sugar (ICUMSA 45-150): High purity, ideal for large-volume export due to its stability during transport.
VVHP Sugar (Very Very High Polarization): An even more purified version of raw sugar, enabling a faster refining process and optimizing production at destination refineries.
The Plasfer Difference
We operate at the forefront of the supply chain, ensuring a continuous and reliable flow of these commodities. With a focus on transparency and compliance, Plasfer ensures that every sugar shipment meets international quality and safety standards.
Integrated Logistics: Efficient movement of large volumes.
Guaranteed Origin: Partnerships with certified mills and suppliers.
Contractual Security: Operations structured to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
Peanuts and derivatives
Peanuts are a versatile legume with numerous applications, which can be consumed raw or used as a raw material in countless end products.
Sunflower oil
Regarded as a premium oil, sunflower oil has wide-ranging uses in human nutrition.
It offers excellent nutritional quality, is aromatic and flavorful, and can be used in preserves, margarines and frying, among other applications.
Beans
Beans are a legume with many varieties, very popular in cuisines around the world.
Their importance in nutrition, together with ease of storage and transport, gives them a prominent place in the (inter)national market.
Animal
Grain
With a wide range of uses, Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (DDGS) are a by-product of ethanol distillation and, alongside GMO products (genetically modified organisms), have become a highly nutritious supplement in animal feed.
With high nutritional value, these products are used in cattle feed, livestock farming, poultry farming and aquaculture.
Corn
Corn is one of the most widely produced grains in the world and is essential for animal nutrition.
This cereal is the most important ingredient in animal feed, making up around 60% of its composition. This is because it is easily digested, highly energetic and has a record conversion rate into meat, milk and eggs.
Soybeans and Soybean Meal
Soybeans are a high-quality plant-based source, prominent in animal feed products and by-products. They are an excellent source of protein, fiber and amino acids, and are widely used in poultry farming, pig farming, and beef and dairy cattle farming.
Peanut
This oilseed has been gaining ground in animal feed as a quality substitute for soy.
Peanut meal has nutritional characteristics similar to soybean meal, but with the competitive advantage of being low-cost to acquire and highly available.
Non-Ferrous Metals
At Plasfer we work with aluminum in ingots, billets and rods, as well as copper in cathodes, anodes and copper wire, all new and recycled, of high quality and sourced in line with the best environmental practices.
We have established partnerships with internationally recognized specialist companies to offer standardized solutions and customized products.
Copper Rod (Filament) 8mm
Produced through continuous casting and rolling, our 8mm rod is the starting point for drawing ultra-fine wires and industrial cables.
Characteristics: Excellent ductility and a surface free of impurities, reducing wear during wire-drawing processes.
Industrial Use: Manufacturing of electrical conductors, telecommunications systems and windings for high-efficiency motors.
Sustainability: Available in primary or high-quality recycled copper options, aligned with ESG goals.
Non-ferrous metals are materials with high corrosion resistance and excellent conductivity, with wide industrial applicability. Their unique properties make these materials the ideal choice across numerous industries and for the creation of advanced technological solutions. Aluminum and copper are among the most widely used metals globally and, together with other non-ferrous alloys, are present in 80% of modern industrial applications.
Being fully recyclable and extremely versatile, non-ferrous metals are found in everyday objects, as well as in civil construction, the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries, among others. They are used in architectural structures, electrical systems, vehicle components, packaging, 90% of electronic equipment, pipe production and renewable energy systems.
Copper Cathode (Grade A)
Copper cathode is the primary form of high-purity copper, produced through electrolytic refining. It is the indispensable base for industries requiring maximum electrical conductivity and superior malleability.
Purity: Copper content above 99.99%.
Applications: Production of high-voltage electrical wires and cables, precision metal alloys and components for the renewable energy sector.
Plasfer Difference: Supply sourced from LME (London Metal Exchange) certified refineries, ensuring liquidity and international standards.
Aluminum (A7)
Aluminum A7 (99.7% purity) is the gold standard for primary aluminum ingots. It is a lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal that is highly versatile for precision casting.
